Louise Verneuil
Pauline Louise Benattar (; born 14 December 1988), better known by her stage name Louise Verneuil (), is a French singer-songwriter. Biography Verneuil was born in the department of Ariège, Midi-Pyrénées. She has one sister. Her father, a pharmacist, enjoyed English-speaking artists including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and David Bowie, and taught Verneuil how to play guitar. Her Spanish mother, who died in 2018, listened to Gilbert Bécaud, Marie Laforêt, Barbara, Jean Ferrat, Serge Reggiani, Serge Gainsbourg, and Véronique Sanson. Verneuil's family moved to La Bastide-sur-l'Hers, Ariège when she was 18 months old, and owned a restaurant there. They moved to Golfe-Juan when Verneuil was eleven and she was educated at Lycée du Mont Saint-Jean (1998-2002) in nearby Antibes. Isabelle Boulay, (born 6 July 1972) is a French Canadian singer. Biography Born in Sainte-Félicité, Quebec, where her parents owned a restaurant, Boulay moved to the nearby city of Matane at the start of her adolescence, and studied literature at Cégep Limoilou. In 1988, her friends signed her up, without her knowledge, for a singing contest in Matane, where she made the acquaintance of Josélito Michaud, who later became her agent. In 1990, at the Petite-Vallée song festival, she won an award for her performance of "Les gens de mon pays" (Gilles Vigneault). The following year, in 1991, she won the Granby song festival for her rendition of "Amsterdam" (Jacques Brel) and "Naufrage" (Dan Bigras). Louis Bertignac (; born 23 February 1954) is a French guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. An ex Shakin' Street member and a founding member in 1976 of the rock band Téléphone, he formed Bertignac et les Visiteurs after Téléphone split in 1986. Tony Visconti produced his first solo album, ''Elle et Louis'' (1993) and Chris Kimsey the second, '' '96''. In 2004, he produced, arranged and played guitar on the debut album by Carla Bruni, ''Quelqu'un m'a dit''. Alain Bashung (, born Alain Claude Baschung; 1 December 1947 – 14 March 2009) was a French singer, songwriter and actor. Credited with reviving the French chanson in "a time of French musical turmoil", he is often regarded in his home country as the most important French rock musician after Serge Gainsbourg.
