Lou Hedley
Louis Hedley (born 26 June 1993) is an Australian professional American football punter who is a free agent. He played college football at CCSF before transferring to Miami (FL). Early years Hedley grew up in Mandurah, Western Australia and originally played Australian rules football. He started playing juniors with the Mandurah Mustangs in the Peel Football League before five seasons with the South Mandurah Falcons in the Metro Football League where he was a premiership player. He played senior football in 2013 with Peel Thunder for a season in the West Australian Football League though did not break into the senior side. Known for his long kicking he was invited to join the ProKick Australia during that season, aiming for a potential American football career. College career Hedley played one season of college football at City College of San Francisco in 2017, where he averaged 38.6 yards per punt. Punter (gridiron Football)
A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. Punters may also occasionally take part in fake punts in those same situations, when they throw or run the football instead of punting. Skills and usage The purpose of the punt is to force the team that is receiving the kick to start as far as possible from the kicking team's end zone. Peel Thunder
The Peel Thunder Football Club is an Australian rules football club playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW). The team is based in Mandurah, Western Australia, with their home ground being Rushton Park. The club joined the WAFL as an expansion team in 1997. Since 2014 Peel have been in a formal alignment with the Fremantle Dockers of the Australian Football League, an arrangement which sees Fremantle's reserve players play for Peel. History Peel Thunder Football Club was formed in 1996 after the West Australian Football Commission (WAFC) granted a ninth licence in the WAFL to the Mandurah-Peel region. Matthew Hayball (born 12 March 1997) is an Australian professional American football punter for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Florida Atlantic Owls and Vanderbilt Commodores. He previously was an Australian rules football player who was drafted by the Geelong Football Club, although he was delisted without having appeared in an Australian Football League (AFL) game. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a professional Canadian football team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
