Marjo Hippi
Marjo Hippi (born 4 February 1978) is a Finnish curler from Helsinki. She currently plays lead for Oona Kauste. Hippi was born in Nurmo. After beginning curling in 2004, she joined the Tuire Autio rink in 2005 and finished 4th at the Finnish Women's Curling Championship in 2006. The next season she joined the Lare Norri rink as her third and again finished 4th at the Finnish Championship. The rink again finished 4th in 2008. In 2009, the team won their first medal, winning silver. They won a bronze medal at the 2010 Finnish championship. Hippi's first international curling competition was the 2010 European Mixed Curling Championship, playing lead for the Finnish team, skipped by Tomi Rantamäki. The team would finish in 15th place. Aku Kauste
Aku Kauste (born 17 November 1979) is a Finnish curler from Helsinki. He is currently the skip for the national team of Finland. Kauste is one of the most successful curling players in Finland, with over 20 medals in the Finnish Curling Championships (juniors, men's, mixed, mixed doubles). Career Kauste started curling in 1994 with his father Timo Kauste. In 1998, Kauste made his first international appearance at the World Junior Curling Championships. Sanna Puustinen (born 24 March 1988; in marriage also known as Sanna Piilo) is a Finnish curler. Puustinen grew up in Hyvinkää but lives in Helsinki. Puustinen has represented Finland in four European Curling Championships. She was an alternate at her first European Championships in 2005. She didn't play in any games, and the team placed 10th. She played in 2011 European Curling Championships as fourth player with Heidi Hossi, and Eszter Juhász team skipped by Oona Kauste, and placed 12th (8-1 in the B Division). Maija Salmiovirta (born January 11, 1982 in Helsinki) is a Finnish curler. She currently plays second for Oona Kauste. Salmiovirta started curling in 2008 and immediately joined the Bettina Mandelin team at lead, finishing 7th in the 2009 Finnish Women's Curling Championship, the next year they would finish fifth. In 2010, she joined the Ellen Vogt rink as her lead, winning a silver medal at the 2011 Finnish championship. The team would play in three World Curling Tour events that season as well. With Vogt, Salmiovirta won bronze medal at the 2012 Finnish championship and a silver in 2013.
