Lorna Brown (actress)
Lorna Brown (born 9 February) is a British actress and singer. She made her stage debut in the Olivier Award-winning West End production of '' Once on This Island'' in 1994, and since then has worked largely in television. Brown appeared in the long-running dramas ''Holby City'' and ''The Bill'' and the sketch shows '' French and Saunders'' and '' The Catherine Tate Show'', before taking on regular roles in the financial thriller ''Devils'', the mockumentary sitcom ''Hard Cell'', and the fantasy horror series ''Vampire Academy'' during the early 2020s. 59th Berlin International Film Festival
The 59th Berlin International Film Festival was held from 5 February to 15 February 2009. The opening film of the festival was Tom Tykwer’s '' The International'', screened out of competition. Costa-Gavras's immigrant drama '' Eden Is West'' served as the closing night film at the festival. The festival's jury president was actress Tilda Swinton of the United Kingdom. The Golden Bear was awarded to Peruvian film ''La Teta Asustada'' directed by Claudia Llosa. The retrospective dedicated to the Golden Age of 70mm filmmaking from 1955 to 1970, titled ''70 mm – Bigger than Life'' was shown at the festival. ''Taking Stock'' is a 2015 popular, independent caper film written and directed by Maeve Murphy and starring Kelly Brook. It was shot on location in Kings Cross, London in homage to '' The Ladykillers''. Some interior scenes were shot in Crystal Palace, London.
