Dark Fate
''Terminator: Dark Fate'' is a 2019 American science fiction action film directed by Tim Miller and written by David Goyer, Justin Rhodes and Billy Ray from a story by James Cameron, Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman, Goyer and Rhodes. Cameron also produced the film with David Ellison. It is the sixth installment in the ''Terminator'' franchise and a direct sequel to '' Terminator 2: Judgment Day'' (1991), ignoring the events of '' Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines'' (2003), ''Terminator Salvation'' (2009) and ''Terminator Genisys'' (2015), following the return of creative control to Cameron. The film stars Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger as Sarah Connor and the T-800 Terminator, respectively, reuniting the actors after 23 years. It introduces Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta as new characters. Tim Miller (director)
Timothy Miller (born October 10, 1964) is an American filmmaker. He made his feature-film directing debut with ''Deadpool'' (2016). He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film as co-story writer and executive producer of the short animated film '' Gopher Broke'' (2004). Miller directed '' Terminator: Dark Fate'' (2019), and also designed the title sequences of ''The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'' and '' Thor: The Dark World''. He is the creator, showrunner and producer of the animated anthology series ''Love, Death & Robots'', for which he has received several Primetime Emmy nominations and awards.
