Loren Gabel
Loren Gabel (born July 24, 1997) is a Canadian women's ice hockey player, formerly of the Clarkson Golden Knights. She made her debut for the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2018 4 Nations Cup. She won the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2019. Playing career PWHL In her second season of Provincial Women's Hockey League (PWHL) hockey, Gabel captured a silver medal with the Toronto Jr. Aeros at the 2014 Ontario Women's Hockey Association championships (Intermediate AA level). For the 2014–15 PWHL season, Gabel moved on to the Oakville Jr. Hornets, coached by Bradi Cochrane. Logging 37 points in the regular season, which ranked tenth in the PWHL, Gabel gained a bronze medal at the 2015 PWHL championships. NCAA Joining the Clarkson Golden Knights in 2015–16, Gabel captured the team's Rookie of the Year Award, while earning a place on the ECAC Conference All-Rookie Team. Patty Kazmaier Award Winners

Élizabeth Giguère
Élizabeth Giguère (born May 8, 1997) is a Canadian ice hockey player for PWHL New York of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She played college ice hockey with the Clarkson Golden Knights and the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, where she was a two-time First Team CCM/ AHCA All-American and the winner of the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2020. She previously played for the Boston Pride of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Playing career Collegiate career Giguère began her collegiate career for the Clarkson Golden Knights during the 2017–18 season. During her freshman season, Giguère recorded 27 goals and 44 assists, setting Clarkson's program record for freshman scoring with 71 points. Daryl Watts
Daryl Watts (born May 15, 1999) is a Canadian women's ice hockey player for the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation. She previously played in the NCAA, two seasons each for the Boston College Eagles and the Wisconsin Badgers. Watts was awarded the 21st Patty Kazmaier Award, becoming the first freshman player to win the award. Watts finished the season with 82 points, which led all competitors in NCAA women's ice hockey. Forward (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, a forward is a player, and a position on the ice, whose primary responsibility is to score and assist goals. Generally, the forwards try to stay in three different lanes of the ice going from goal to goal. It is not mandatory, however, to stay in a lane. Staying in a lane aids in forming the common offensive strategy known as a triangle. One forward obtains the puck and then the forwards pass it between themselves making the goalie move side to side. This strategy opens up the net for scoring opportunities. This strategy allows for a constant flow of the play, attempting to maintain the control of play by one team in the offensive zone. The forwards can pass to the defence players playing at the blue line, thus freeing up the play and allowing either a shot from the point (blue line position where the defence stands) or a pass back to the offence.
