''Lord of Shanghai'' () is a 2015 Hong Kong television pre-modern period drama produced by Amy Wong for TVB. It premiered on TVB Jade and HD Jade on 26 October 2015 airing every Monday through Sunday during its 9:30–10:30 pm timeslot with a total of 32 episodes. The drama is the last of TVB's four 2015 grand anniversary dramas to be broadcast. The drama, set in the 1930s Shanghai tells the story of three powerful business tycoons portrayed by Anthony Wong, Kent Tong, and Wayne Lai. It is based on a true story about three powerful tycoons in the 1930s Shanghai whose names were Du Yuesheng (Kiu Ngo Tin), Huang Jinrong (Chak Kam Tong) and Zhang Xiaolin (Kung Siu San). Alfred Hui Ting-hang (born 29 April 1988) is a Hong Kong singer and dentist. He rose to prominence as the eleventh-place finalist in the first season of ''The Voice'' (). Huang Jinrong
Huang Jinrong (; 10 May 1868 – 20 June 1953), nicknamed "Pockmarked" due to a bad case of smallpox, Lintner, Bertil. ''Burma in Revolt: Opium and Insurgency Since 1948''. Silkworm Books. 1999. p.309 was a Chinese detective who worked for the French Concession police force in Shanghai from 1892 to 1925. Even though he was a detective, he was also one of Shanghai's three major gangsters along with Du Yuesheng and Zhang Xiaolin, who worked for the Green Gang. Despite the Gang's gradual collapse, Huang stayed in Shanghai until he died of illness in 1953.
