"Long Night" is a single by Irish family band the Corrs, taken as the third single from their fourth studio album, ''Borrowed Heaven'' (2004). The song was written by Sharon Corr and released on 6 December 2004 in the United Kingdom. Even though it was not a hit around Europe or Australia, it became popular in Brazil after its use on a famous prime time national soap opera ''Senhora do Destino''. Music video The video for "Long Night" only features Andrea and, very briefly, Sharon during her violin solo. Apart from that, we see different versions of Andrea moving backwards through a love affair with a young man. It was shot on 29 October 2004. The location for the video shooting was Chicheley Hall in Buckinghamshire (north of London), which was built in the 18th century and is still open for public today. ''Borrowed Heaven'' is the fourth studio album by Irish rock band The Corrs, released through Atlantic Records on 31 May 2004. The album was produced by Olle Romo. The band released three singles from this album: " Summer Sunshine", "Angel", and " Long Night". A remix version of "Goodbye" was released as a download-only single in 2006. Other notable tracks include the title track "Borrowed Heaven", which featured an appearance from Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and "Time Enough for Tears", which was penned by U2's Bono and featured in the 2002 film '' In America'', for which it was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. Olle Romo
Olle Romö is a Swedish music producer, songwriter, and drummer. Romo rehearsed with Swedish progressive rock group Kaipa in early 1982, however he left the group after a few weeks to join Eurythmics, and he was a drummer for them from the mid-to-late 1980s. He also worked on onetime Eurythmic Dave Stewart's solo albums in the 1990s and was a part of Stewart's Vegas project with Terry Hall. "Angel" is a song by Irish folk rock band the Corrs, the second single released from their fourth studio album, ''Borrowed Heaven'' (2004). The song is a tribute to the band members' mother, Jean, who died in 1999. "Angel" was first released in Australia on 23 August 2004 and was issued in the United Kingdom the following month. The song peaked at number 16 on the UK Singles Chart, number 14 in Hungary, and number 19 in Ireland. Music video The regular video was shot in Lake Park, Roundwood, Ireland on 12 June 2004. Sharon Corr
Sharon Helga Corr MBE (born 24 March 1970) is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, and television personality. She is best known as a member of the pop-rock band The Corrs, which she co-founded in 1990 with her elder brother Jim and younger sisters Caroline and Andrea. She plays the violin, piano and guitar, and sings backing vocals. She began learning the violin when she was six years old. She has played in national youth orchestras and is qualified to teach the violin. The Corr siblings were awarded honorary MBEs in 2005 by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of both their musical talent and their charitable work raising money for Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, victims of the Omagh Bombing, and other charities.
