Angel (The Corrs Song)
"Angel" is a song by Irish folk rock band the Corrs, the second single released from their fourth studio album, ''Borrowed Heaven'' (2004). The song is a tribute to the band members' mother, Jean, who died in 1999. "Angel" was first released in Australia on 23 August 2004 and was issued in the United Kingdom the following month. The song peaked at number 16 on the UK Singles Chart, number 14 in Hungary, and number 19 in Ireland. Music video The regular video was shot in Lake Park, Roundwood, Ireland on 12 June 2004. The video features a bride and groom portrayed by Saileog Lally and Eoin Macken respectively. Lake Park is a estate near the woodlands where scenes from the film ''Excalibur'' where shot. The Corrs are an Irish family band that combine pop rock with traditional Irish themes within their music. Jim Corr
James Steven Ignatius Corr, (born 31 July 1964) is an Irish musician, singer, songwriter and DJ. He is a member of the Irish folk/rock band The Corrs, the other members being his three younger sisters Andrea, Sharon and Caroline. Musical career Corr first took guitar lessons in his hometown of Dundalk, a large industrial town in County Louth. Corr plays acoustic and electric guitar as well as piano, keyboard, accordion and singing background vocals. He has also had an active role in the production aspects of all of The Corrs' albums to date, working with David Foster and Olle Romo on two separate albums. Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest. In the 2010s, the chart was announced during a podcast on Kiss FM, but the broadcast ended in February 2012. Stephen Marcussen is the founder and chief mastering engineer at Marcussen Mastering in Hollywood, California, United States. He has been mastering music since 1979. Biography Marcussen's introduction to music recording happened in 1976 when, at the age of 19, he was offered a janitor position at Studio 55, record producer Richard Perry's Los Angeles recording studio. At Studio 55, Marcussen received an education in all facets of music recording and sound production. Tim Pierce
Tim Pierce (born 1959 in Albuquerque) is an American session guitarist. He has worked for artists such as Joe Cocker, Crowded House, Goo Goo Dolls, Michael Jackson, Beth Hart, Roger Waters, Alice Cooper, Johnny Hallyday, Phil Collins, and the Cheetah Girls. Pierce's parents were not musicians, although, unbeknownst to Pierce, his father used to play the trumpet in his youth.
