Gerry Anderson
Gerald Alexander Anderson (; 14 April 1929 – 26 December 2012) was an English television and film producer, director, writer and occasional voice artist. He remains famous for his futuristic television programmes, especially his 1960s productions filmed with " Supermarionation" (marionette puppets containing electric moving parts). Anderson's first television production was the 1957 Roberta Leigh children's series ''The Adventures of Twizzle'' (1957–58). ''Torchy the Battery Boy'' (1960), ''Four Feather Falls'' (1960), ''Supercar'' (1961–62) and ''Fireball XL5'' (1962–63) followed later, both series breaking into the U.S. television market in the early 1960s. Keith George Wilson (19 September 1941 – 6 July 2011) was a British production designer. He began his career at AP Films, working as an art assistant on ''Fireball XL5'' (1963) and later Gerry Anderson productions. Ken Turner (director)
Ken Turner ( fl. 1966) is a British television and film director and screenwriter who has worked extensively on series created by Gerry Anderson. As well as directing various episodes of ''Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons'' (1967–68), ''Joe 90'' (1968–69) and ''UFO'' (1970–71), he also served as assistant director on the film '' Thunderbirds Are Go'' (1966). He also collaborated with David Mitton, director on ''Thomas and Friends'', to establish their own company, Clearwater Films, from which they started to make TV advertisements using stop-motion animation.
