The London School of Journalism (LSJ) is an independent journalism school based in London, England, which offers qualifications in journalism, freelance journalism and creative writing. The LSJ provides both on-site and distance learning to its students, ranging from short courses to postgraduate diplomas. The school was founded in 1920 by Sir Max Pemberton. A journalism school is a school or department, usually part of an established university, where journalists are trained. 'J-School' is an increasingly used term for a journalism department at a school or college. Father Varghese Paul Chollamadam (31 May 1943 – 10 April 2021) was a writer, journalist, translator and Jesuit priest from Gujarat, India. Born in South India, he was ordained a priest in 1977. Michael Ernest Sweet (born 1979) is a Canadian photographer, writer, and educator. He is the author of two books of street photography, ''The Human Fragment'' and ''Michael Sweet's Coney Island.'' Teaching Sweet was born and raised on his family's horse farm in Martock, Nova Scotia. Oral Kwame Ofori (born January 26, 1980), professionally known as Oral Ofori, is a Ghanaian-American award-winning digital media producer and blogger, freelance journalist, entrepreneur, and writer.
