Lomnessjøen
Lomnessjøen is a lake in Rendalen Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The villages Åkre and Otnes are located on the shores of the lake. The lake is part of the Renaelva river system. The Renaelva river flows into the lake from the north. The south end of the river drains into the larger lake Storsjøen which is about to the south of this lake. Otnes is a village in Rendalen Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the lake Lomnessjøen, about north of the village of Åkre. The municipal centre of Bergset lies about to the north of Otnes. The village has a population (2021) of 263 and a population density of . Otnes was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Ytre Rendal which existed from 1880 until 1965 when it was merged into Rendalen. Renaelva
The Rena or Renaelva is a river in Innlandet county, Norway. The long river runs through Rendalen and Åmot municipalities in Innlandet county. This river is a tributary of the large river Glomma. Kjøllsæter Bridge connects the east and west side of the river. The river Julussa flows from south through the Julussdalen valley and into the river Rena. The Rena watershed has a drainage area of . The river begins at the confluence of the rivers Tysla and Unsetåa which is just south of the Fonnåsfjellet mountain and just north of the village of Bergset. The river flows south through the lakes Lomnessjøen and Storsjøen and when the river reaches the village of Rena, just flows into the large river Glomma. Innlandet is a county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark (the municipalities of Jevnaker and Lunner were transferred to the neighboring county of Viken on the same date). The new county has an area of , making it the second largest county in Norway after Troms og Finnmark county.
