Lollipop Lust Kill was an American nu metal band, formed in 1996 in Toledo, Ohio. Band history Lollipop Lust Kill was formed in 1996 in Toledo, Ohio with the original line-up including DeadGreg, Dr. Distorto, Evvy Pedder, D. Human, and drummer Bloody Sunday. Prior to Evvy (Pedder's) 1996 induction into the fold, the band had resided under the moniker 'Candy Killers'. The name 'Lollipop Lust Kill' was derived partly from a desire by the original members to incorporate a sugar-coated, tongue-in-cheek feel to the band's name, with the 'lust kill' portion inspired randomly from a description of serial killer John Wayne Gacy in the ''Encyclopedia of Serial Killers'' as a 'lust killer' read aloud one evening by Pedder to the rest of the band. Nu Metal
Nu metal (sometimes stylized as nü-metal, sometimes called aggro-metal) is a subgenre of that combines elements of heavy metal music with elements of other music genres such as hip hop, alternative rock, funk, industrial, and grunge. Kittie is a Canadian Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in London, Ontario in 1996. All of their material has been released through independent record labels, which to date includes six studio albums, one video album, four extended plays, thirteen singles, and thirteen music videos. "Kittie" was chosen as the band name because the name "seemed contradictory." Kittie formed in 1996 when Fallon Bowman and Mercedes Lander met in gym class. Motograter was an American heavy metal band formed in Santa Barbara, California in 1995. They are best known for their homemade, namesake instrument, designed with industrial cable and guitar pieces that creates a unique bass sound, and painting themselves in tribal-style body paint for live concerts. Under the band's original lineup between 1998 and 2001, they released two EPs, ''Hugh Chardon'' and ''Indy''. In 2002, Ivan "Ghost" Moody took over from original singer Zak Ward and released their debut studio album ''Motograter'' in 2003.
