Lolitawork Libretto
is the second studio album by singer and cellist Kanon Wakeshima. The song "Toumei no Kagi" was released as a digital download prior to the release of the album on September 16, 2009. The song was used as the theme song of the online game ''Avalon no Kagi''. A promotional music video for the song "Lolitawork Libretto ~Storytelling by Solita~" was also released prior to the album. The album charted at No. 83 on the Oricon Albums Charts and only charted for one week. The official full title of the album is ''"Lolitawork Libretto: A Libretto on What Makes a Girl Work"''. Kanon Wakeshima
is a Japanese musician and singer. Originally produced by musician and fashion designer Mana, Wakeshima debuted under the DefStar Records label on May 28, 2008 with the single " Still Doll", the ending theme for the anime adaptation of the manga series ''Vampire Knight''. She also provided the voice for a maid that appears in the eighth episode of the series. Wakeshima's second single " Suna no Oshiro", released on November 12, 2008, was used as the ending theme for the series' second season (subtitled ''Guilty''). She was nominated for a Best Newcomer award for 2008 in the fourth annual Shōjo Beat Music Awards, nominees of which are determined by surveying "record companies, music journalists, music experts, and music fans". Shinshoku Dolce
is the debut album by singer and cellist Kanon Wakeshima. The album was preceded by two singles: " Still Doll" and "Suna no Oshiro". Both of those singles were used in the anime ''Vampire Knight''. The success of those singles led to Kanon being nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the fourth annual Shōjo Beat Music Awards. The album was released on February 11, 2009 in Germany, France, and Europe, and on February 18, 2009 in Japan in both Limited and Regular editions. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units. Charts are published every Tuesday in Oricon Style and on Oricon's official website. Every Monday, Oricon receives data from outlets, but data on merchandise sold through certain channels does not make it into the charts.
