The Logan Brothers Rugby League Football Club, commonly known as The leprechauns, was formed at the St Pauls Convent in 1977. Logan Brothers competes in the Brisbane Rugby League and the Brisbane Second Division Rugby League with the club playing out of Civic Park in Logan Central, Queensland. Brisbane Second Division Rugby League
The Brisbane Second Division Rugby League is the second division of rugby league clubs in Brisbane. History In 1971 the Brisbane Rugby League began a second division competition. This competition was for Under 23 teams in three grades, and was contested by the BRL clubs, University, Teachers and eight "satellite" clubs. By 1977 there were 15 teams competing in Northern and Southern Zones. Since 1981 the Second Division has used Davies Park, West End as its headquarters and finals venue. There are four teams from 1971 that are still competing in the Second Division: Brighton, St Brendans, Sunnybank and Bulimba Valleys (formerly Valley United Stars). The most successful clubs between 1977 and 2004 have been Sunnybank (13 Premierships), Carina (12 premierships), St Brendans (10) and Banyo (8). Lote Tuqiri (rugby, Born 1979)
Lote Daulako Tuqiri (born 23 September 1979) is a former professional dual-code rugby footballer who primarily played as a winger across both codes. He represented Australia in both rugby league and rugby union, and Fiji in rugby league. Tuqiri first rose to prominence as a professional rugby league footballer for the Brisbane Broncos and Queensland Maroons, as well as the Fiji and Australia national sides. He was therefore a high-profile signing for rugby union in 2002, winning 67 caps for Australia and being a part of their 2003 and 2007 World Cup squads. He played rugby union for the Waratahs in the Super 14 and Leicester Tigers in England in season 2009–10. Moeaki Fotuaika (born 16 November 1999) is a Tonga international rugby league footballer who plays as for the Gold Coast Titans in the NRL.
