Logan's Sanctuary
''Logan's Sanctuary'' is an electronica album by Roger Joseph Manning Jr. and Brian Reitzell, conceived as the soundtrack for an imagined sequel to the film ''Logan's Run''. Manning's former bandmate in Jellyfish, Jason Falkner, contributed to two tracks. Also, photographs of Falkner dressed in costumes reminiscent of the film were incorporated into the CD booklet. Manning, Reitzell, and Falkner later formed the band TV Eyes, recording their first album between 2000 and 2003, although it was not released until 2006. Roger Joseph Manning Jr
Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (born May 27, 1966) is an American keyboardist, singer, and songwriter who co-founded the bands Jellyfish, the Moog Cookbook, and Imperial Drag. He has also spent several years as a member of Beck's backing band, contributed to several recordings by the band Air, and toured or recorded with acts such as Jay-Z, Blink 182, and Johnny Cash. In 2005, he released his first solo record, '' Solid State Warrior'', followed with ''Robo-Sapiens'' (as "Mailibu", 2007), '' Catnip Dynamite'' (2008), and ''Glamping'' (2018). He is usually credited by his full name to avoid confusion with the folk musician Roger Manning. Brian Reitzell
Brian Reitzell (born December 24, 1965) is an American musician, composer, record producer and music supervisor best known for his work on many film and TV soundtracks. He is notable for working extensively with the American film director Sofia Coppola (''The Virgin Suicides'', '' Lost in Translation'', '' Marie Antoinette'', ''The Bling Ring''). He was formerly the drummer for the LA punk band Redd Kross. He has collaborated extensively with the French electronica duo Air, having performed drums on their albums ''The Virgin Suicides'' and '' 10 000 Hz Legend''. Reitzell also toured with the band on their "Moon Safari" tour in 1998 and again in 2000 and 2001. In 2003 he was nominated for a BAFTA, along with Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine, for the score to ''Lost in Translation''. Bomb Factory is a recording studio and manufacturer of music plugins based in Los Angeles, California, U.S. Music studio Bomb Factory Studios features an extensive collection of vintage and historic equipment and musical instruments. Jellyfish (band)
Jellyfish was an American rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1989. Led by songwriters Andy Sturmer (drums, vocals) and Roger Manning (keyboards, vocals), the group was known for their blend of 1970s classic rock and XTC-style power pop. They released two albums, ''Bellybutton'' (1990) and '' Spilt Milk'' (1993), that proved influential to many subsequent acts in a similar vein. Sturmer and Manning met in high school and shared an admiration for jazz, post-punk, and British pop music. Following a stint as members of Beatnik Beatch, they quit the group to continue songwriting with one another and formed Jellyfish. Jason Falkner (born June 2, 1968) is an American songwriter, musician, and guitarist who was a member of the bands Jellyfish (band), Jellyfish, the Three O'Clock, and the Grays (band), the Grays. Since 1996, he has released six solo albums, starting with ''Presents Author Unknown''. He is also a session musician and producer who has contributed to dozens of recordings by other bands and musicians. ''TV Eyes'' is the first and only studio album by TV Eyes, released on October 25, 2006, by Noise McCartney Records in Japan. The album was supported with a single for the song, “She’s a Study”.
