Synthpop
Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop; ) is a subgenre of new wave music that first became prominent in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument. New Wave Music
New wave is a loosely defined music genre that encompasses pop-oriented styles from the late 1970s and the 1980s. It was originally used as a catch-all for the various styles of music that emerged after punk rock, including punk itself. Jason Falkner
Jason Falkner (born June 2, 1968) is an American songwriter, musician, and guitarist who was a member of the bands Jellyfish (band), Jellyfish, the Three O'Clock, and the Grays (band), the Grays. Since 1996, he has released six solo albums, starting with ''Presents Author Unknown''. He is also a session musician and producer who has contributed to dozens of recordings by other bands and musicians. Early bands Falkner joined the Three O'Clock, as a guitarist (and composer of one song) on their final album ''Vermillion (album), Vermillion'', released in 1988 on Prince's Paisley Park Records label. Roger Joseph Manning Jr
Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (born May 27, 1966) is an American keyboardist, singer, and songwriter who co-founded the bands Jellyfish, the Moog Cookbook, and Imperial Drag. He has also spent several years as a member of Beck's backing band, contributed to several recordings by the band Air, and toured or recorded with acts such as Jay-Z, Blink 182, and Johnny Cash. In 2005, he released his first solo record, '' Solid State Warrior'', followed with ''Robo-Sapiens'' (as "Mailibu", 2007), '' Catnip Dynamite'' (2008), and ''Glamping'' (2018). He is usually credited by his full name to avoid confusion with the folk musician Roger Manning. Brian Reitzell (born December 24, 1965) is an American musician, composer, record producer and music supervisor best known for his work on many film and TV soundtracks. He is notable for working extensively with the American film director Sofia Coppola (''The Virgin Suicides'', '' Lost in Translation'', '' Marie Antoinette'', ''The Bling Ring''). He was formerly the drummer for the LA punk band Redd Kross. He has collaborated extensively with the French electronica duo Air, having performed drums on their albums ''The Virgin Suicides'' and '' 10 000 Hz Legend''. Reitzell also toured with the band on their "Moon Safari" tour in 1998 and again in 2000 and 2001. In 2003 he was nominated for a BAFTA, along with Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine, for the score to ''Lost in Translation''. TV Eyes (album)
''TV Eyes'' is the first and only studio album by TV Eyes, released on October 25, 2006, by Noise McCartney Records in Japan. The album was supported with a single for the song, “She’s a Study”. Despite positive reviews from critics, ''TV Eyes'' was the only studio album released from the group. It was followed up by an EP in 2008, titled ''Softcore'', containing original songs and remixes of songs from the album. On October 7, 2014, the album was released internationally (along with the single "She Gets Around" and remixes from the EP ''Softcore'') on both CD and vinyl by Omnivore Recordings.
