Loco Dice
Loco Dice (born Yassine Ben Achour on 10 August 1974) is a Tunisian-German DJ and electronic music producer born and based in Düsseldorf, Germany. He is best known for his work in the house and tech house genres and his residencies at Ibiza nightclubs ''Space'' and ''Hi Ibiza''. Background and career Loco Dice was born to Tunisian parents, who immigrated to Düsseldorf, where he was born and raised. Loco Dice started his career as a hip hop DJ and rapper, establishing a residency at local Düsseldorf club, ''Salon des Amateurs'', before gaining support slots for performers such as Usher, Ice Cube, Jamiroquai, Snoop Dogg and R. Kelly. He eventually, transitioned to house and techno, upon the urging of fellow DJs, Timo Maas and Sven Vath, after a summer in Ibiza in 2002. Amnesia (nightclub)
Amnesia is a nightclub on the Spanish island of Ibiza. It opened in 1976 and won the title of Best Global Club in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 at the IDMA, IDMA Awards in Miami. The club is located close to the village of San Rafael, Ibiza, San Rafael on the highway between Sant Antoni de Portmany (municipality), Sant Antoni de Portmany and Ibiza Town. History The (country house) that would become the Amnesia nightclub was sold in April 1970 by the Planells family, who had inhabited the house for five generations, to a widow from an aristocratic background. Minus or M-nus is a recording label based in Berlin, Germany and Windsor, Canada. It was created in 1998 by Richie Hawtin when Plus 8, a label previously created by Hawtin, was put on hold. By 2005, M-nus was releasing two to three CDs and 12 to 14 records per year. Time Warp is an annual electronic music festival originated in Mannheim, Germany. Fabric (stylized as fabric) is a nightclub in Farringdon, London, England. Founded in 1999 on Charterhouse Street opposite Smithfield, London, Smithfield Market, the club was voted World Number 1 Club in ''DJ Magazine''s "Top 100 Clubs Poll" in 2007 and 2008 and ranked World Number 2 in 2009, 2010 and 2017. Fabric was closed down and its license was revoked by Islington London Borough Council, Islington Council in 2016, after two drug-related deaths at the club. Space (, , ) was a superclub on the island of Ibiza, Spain from 1986 to 2016, owned by STANCA. In 2022 the brand opened a bar near Cafe Mambo. They sometimes run popup events around the world, but don't have a fixed club at the time of writing in 2023. It was awarded "Best Global Club" at the International Dance Music Awards in 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Space was located in Platja d'en Bossa on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, close to the Ibiza Airport, airport. Timo Maas (born July 27, 1969) is a German DJ/ producer and remixer. His remix of Azzido Da Bass's single " Dooms Night" helped launch his career in 2000.
