Lobo Bravo Rugby
Lobo Bravo Rugby is a nonprofit civil association which has, as main goal, spread the rugby practice in central and southern Paraná, especially in the city of Guarapuava, its headquarters. History Thanks to the transmission of the Rugby World Cup, on 20 October 2003 was the first training of Lobo Bravo Rugby, the principle in the Plaza of Ukraine, which local, being public, has enough visibility of the sport practice. In 2005 the Bravo Lobo Rugby became an association duly registered with the competent bodies. Brazilian Rugby Association
The Brazilian Rugby Confederation (Portuguese: ''Confederação Brasileira de Rugby'', CBRu) is the governing body for rugby union in Brazil, founded in 2010. It is the successor of the União de Rugby do Brasil (founded in 1963) and the Associação Brasileira de Rugby (founded in 1972). It became a member of the International Rugby Board in 1995. The confederation has six affiliate state federations: Gaúcha (Rio Grande do Sul), Catarinense (Santa Catarina), Paranaense ( Paraná), Paulista (São Paulo), Mineira (Minas Gerais), and Fluminense (Rio de Janeiro). Other state federations are unaffiliated with the CBRu. It organizes the Campeonato Brasileiro de Rugby (Série A / Super 8), Taça Tupi (Série B) and Campeonato Brasileiro de Rugby Sevens. From 2010 onwards, the Brazilian Rugby Union has been sponsored by Topper and Bradesco. Guarapuava
Guarapuava (population: 182,644) is a municipality in the state of Paraná in Brazil. It is the largest municipality in that state by area. Guarapuava is located at 25°23'36" south and 51°27'19" west. The region is known as the centre of the state of Paraná, in the third plateau, also called the Plateau of Guarapuava. Discovered by the Portuguese in 1770, and founded in 1810, the city's name comes from ''tupi guarani'', meaning ''place of Maned wolves sound'' (Maned wolves are called ''Lobos-guará'' in portuguese). Its elevation is 1120 m (3675 ft). The first families to settle in the city were formed through the Tropeiros. These families had their roots in Poland, Italy and Germany. Rugby World Cup
The Rugby World Cup is a men's rugby union tournament contested every four years between the top international teams. The tournament is administered by World Rugby, the sport's international governing body. The winners are awarded the Webb Ellis Cup, named after William Webb Ellis, who according to a popular legend, invented rugby by picking up the ball during a football game. The tournament was first held in 1987 and was co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia. Four countries have won the trophy; New Zealand and South Africa three times, Australia twice, and England once. South Africa is the current champion, having defeated England in the 2019 tournament final. Puerto Iguazú
Puerto Iguazú is a border city in the province of Misiones, Argentina. With a population of 82,227 (), it is the fourth largest city in the Province, after Posadas, Oberá, and Eldorado. The world-renowned Iguazú Falls are only away from the city, and as a result the city has developed much of its infrastructure around tourism. São Paulo Athletic Club - officially these days Clube Atlético São Paulo, but generally referred to as SPAC, is a Brazilian sports club founded on 13 May 1888 by Charles William Miller and several English immigrants, being one of the first association football clubs in the country. Although football is not practised anymore, SPAC currently hosts the practice of futsal, rugby union, squash, swimming, tennis and volleyball.
