''Loabi Veveynee Furaana Dheegen'' is a 1992 Maldivian drama film directed by Yoosuf Rafeeu. Produced by Bukhari Films, the film stars Rafeeu, Mariyam Shakeela and Haajara Abdul Kareem in pivotal roles. Premise Aadhanu (Yoosuf Rafeeu) a hardworking unappealing man does everything in his capability to please a young woman and a student, Mariyam ( Mariyam Shakeela). Mariyam Shakeela is a Maldivian film actress. Career 1992–2007: Early releases After completing her education in MCS and EPS, Shakeela married to comedian Yoosuf Rafeeu who was then a producer and news presenter at Television Maldives. A week after their marriage, Rafeeu requested her to feature in a film for a replacement of an actor who opted out of the film due to personal reasons. At the age of fifteen, she made her screen debut with the film ''Dhon Sanpa'', whose performance was well noted by critics and audiences. Sofa Thowfeek commonly spelled as Sofa Thaufeeq (11 August 1967) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Sofa Thaufeeq was born on 11 August 1967. Her father, Mohamed Thaufeeq was mostly known for his strong voice in the radio program ''Keerithi Rasoolaage Siyarathu'' while her mother, Aishath Fareedha is a homemaker and singer. She is the sister of notable local playback singers Shifa Thaufeeq and Asim Thaufeeq. At the age of eight, she was selected in her school's chorus group, where she started singing and performing on school concerts and locals events. While studying in Aminiya School, she performed the song "Hindhu Emaa Kan'du Thereyn" in the year's national event drill. Umar Zahir (22 November 1963) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Zahir began his career as a musician by joining several music bands in performing at resorts and events. It was then his talent was identified by music composers and producers, where he was offered to lend his voice for several of their compositions. His album series ''Hanhaara'' became a record-breaking album and its songs including "Erey Haadha Rueemey" and "Mooney Thee Hiyy Edhey" became chartbusters upon release.
