''Living Black'' is a current affairs (news format), current affairs program aired on SBS (Australian TV channel), SBS, Australia, addressed primarily to the interests of Australia's Indigenous Australians, indigenous community. Karla Grant has been executive producer of this program, which she developed, since 2002. She has also been fronting the show since 2004. Programming In 2010, the show aired on Special Broadcasting Service, SBS TV with one or two repeats airing during daytime programming during the week on SBS Viceland. From 2013 the show screened on SBS and was repeated at a later time on National Indigenous Television (NITV) each week. Karla Grant is an Australian presenter, producer and journalist for the Special Broadcasting Service, SBS's national Indigenous current affairs program ''Living Black'', focusing on issues concerning Indigenous Australians, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within Australia. Biography Grant was born in Adelaide to a Dutch ethnic group, Dutch father and an Indigenous Australians, Aboriginal mother. SBS Viceland (stylised as SBS VICELAND) is an Australian free-to-air television channel owned by the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). It began as SBS TWO on 1 June 2009, and was branded as SBS 2 between 2013 and 2016. On 8 April 2017, SBS Viceland began simulcasting in high definition. On 17 June 2019, the standard definition broadcast was closed and replaced by SBS World Movies, leaving SBS Viceland as a high definition-only channel.
