Livia Zita (born Lívia Zita Lokay on 21 December 1984 in Budapest, Hungary) is a Hungarian voiceover actress and rock singer, best known for her work with the Danish heavy metal band King Diamond, to which she belongs as a guest musician in studio and backing vocalist in live performances since 2003. Biography Thanks to her marriage with King Diamond (Kim Bendix Petersen), Livia has also contributed to Diamond's band Mercyful Fate. She lives with her husband in Dallas, Texas, USA, and she's an American citizen, under her married name Livia Zita-Bendix Lokay. She's also his business partner, and is working with him to compile old footage for two planned DVD releases of King Diamond and Mercyful Fate live performances. She also helped him make remastered editions of the King Diamond albums ''The Spider's Lullabye'', '' The Graveyard'', '' Voodoo'' and '' House of God''. ''The Spider's Lullabye'' is the sixth studio album by Danish heavy metal band King Diamond, released on 6 June 1995. Unlike other King Diamond albums, it is not a full concept album; only half the songs form a single plot. The album was recorded after a four-year hiatus and this is the first release to feature guitarist Herb Simonsen, bassist Chris Estes and drummer Darrin Anthony. It is also the band's first release on Metal Blade Records. Guitarist Andy LaRocque said it was the most difficult King Diamond album to record because "we had a new band ndwe had a totally new environment recording in the U.S., with a totally different producer." Kim Bendix Petersen (born 14 June 1956), better known by his stage name King Diamond, is a Danish rock musician. As a vocalist, he is known for his powerful and wide-ranging countertenor singing voice, in particular his far-reaching falsetto screams. He is the lead vocalist and lyricist for both Mercyful Fate and the eponymous King Diamond. He also plays keyboards and guitars on studio recordings but uses live shows to focus solely on his vocal performance. Diamond is renowned for his dark lyrical content and his story concepts. ''The Puppet Master'' is the eleventh studio album by Danish heavy metal band King Diamond, released on 21 October 2003. A limited edition includes a DVD on which frontman King Diamond tells the story of the Puppet Master. It is a concept album with a storyline telling the tale of a young couple who go to watch a puppet show in Budapest in the 1700s, and end up being turned into undead puppets by the Puppet Master and his wife. Plot The album opens at the end of the story, with the narrator giving a monologue as he is "hanging" from a wall, snow falling in the night outside.
