Live Letters
''Live Letters'' is a live DVD by the Finnish rock band The Rasmus, originally released on 22 November 2004 on Playground Music. The DVD features eleven live videos from a performance at Gampel Open Air in Switzerland on 21 August 2004, which was part of their Dead Letters tour. All of the songs performed are taken from the ''Hell Of A Tester'', ''Into'' and ''Dead Letters'' albums. The DVD contains also all seven music videos from ''Dead Letters'', including the three different versions of " In the Shadows" . The DVD also features bonus material, including behind the scenes footage and interviews, as well a hidden video clip. The hidden video can be accessed by going to the "Music videos" menu, selecting the second version of "In The Shadows", and then pressing the right arrow, causing The Rasmus' logo to appear on the right. The Rasmus
The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Jarno Lahti left the year after and was replaced by Janne Heiskanen in 1995. Heiskanen quit the band in 1999 and was soon replaced by Aki Hakala. Pauli Rantasalmi left the band and was replaced by female guitarist Emilia "Emppu" Suhonen in 2022. Best known for their 2003 hit single " In the Shadows", the band has sold 5 million albums worldwide and approximately 350,000 albums in Finland alone, and has won numerous awards, both domestic and international. "Funeral Song (The Resurrection)" (originally simple "Funeral Song") is a power ballad by Finnish rock band The Rasmus, originally released on the band's fifth album ''Dead Letters'' on 21 March 2003. Dead Letters
''Dead Letters'' is the fifth album by Finnish band The Rasmus released in 2003. It was released later in 2004 in the US, UK and Australia. Their previous album, '' Into'', had seen some success in some parts of Europe, particularly Scandinavia and Germany, but ''Dead Letters'' signified the band's major break-through. The album received 8 Gold and 6 Platinum music certification awards. Lead single " In the Shadows" received 6 gold and 2 platinum awards, selling over 1 million copies and breaking the record for performance royalties received abroad on a Finnish composition (overtaking the works of Jean Sibelius).
