Eric's Trip is a Canadian indie rock band from Moncton, New Brunswick. Eric's Trip achieved prominence as the first Canadian band to be signed to Seattle's flagship grunge label Sub Pop in the early 1990s. The band had a minor hit in alternative circles with the single "View Master", from the 1994 album ''Forever Again.'' History Eric's Trip formed in 1990 when musicians Rick White and Chris Thompson joined Julie Doiron and Ed Vaughan (who was later replaced by Mark Gaudet). They took their name from a Sonic Youth song and developed a unique sound which fused elements of the distorted guitar of Dinosaur Jr., vocal elements of My Bloody Valentine, the folk leanings of Neil Young, and the lo-fi aesthetic of Sebadoh. ''Live in Concert 2010'' is the second live album by the Danish power rock band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. Recorded at the K.B. Hallen on 16–17 April 2010, it documents the band's finale of their 2010 reunion tour. Performing at this venue has a special connotation to the band members, who grew up nearby and saw concerts of their musical heroes growing up. The original building was destroyed by a fire 1.5 years later. The album was released on 8 November 2010 as 2CD/DVD and 2CD/Blu-ray. Background The video originally consisted of highlights from Amanda's 1979 concert in Hamburg, Germany, filmed during her heyday as a disco singer and directed by Denis Taranto. ''Live in Concert 72/73'' is a live DVD from Deep Purple, released in 2005. The DVD was certified Gold on August 3, 2007 by the RIAA, selling 50,000 copies in the US. It was recorded in KB Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1972, but not released until 1987 in Japan, under the title '' Machine Head Live 1972'', and in Europe three years later under the title ''Scandinavian Nights (Live in Denmark 1972)''. It is the only full concert filmed (in black and white) of the Mk II lineup in this era and features a rare live version of "Fireball". The DVD release also features three tracks from 1973, filmed during a US concert in New York City at Hofstra University in Hempstead, Long Island, in colour.
