LivePerson is a global technology company that develops conversational commerce and AI software. Headquartered in New York City, LivePerson is best known as the developer of the Conversational Cloud, a software platform that allows consumers to message with brands. In 2018, the company announced its AI offering, allowing customers to create AI-powered chatbots to answer consumer messages, alongside human customer service staff. History LivePerson was founded in 1995 by Robert LoCascio. In April 2000, the company completed an initial public offering on the NASDAQ, in March 2011 its shares started trading also on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and are included in the TA-100 Index and the TA BlueTech Index. Robert LoCascio (born May 15, 1968) is an American businessman. He is the founder and CEO of LivePerson, which offers brand-consumer messaging for web, social, and mobile. He is a founding member of the NYC Entrepreneurs Council of the Partnership for New York City and a mentor of the NYC Venture Fellows, a joint initiative formed by the 92Y and the NYCEDC which is designed to help the next generation of global entrepreneurs succeed in New York City. The TA BlueTech Index is a stock market index all capitalised information technology and biotechnology companies listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). The index was launched on 3 April 2011 as the TA BlueTech-50 Index and replaced by the Tel-Tech Index and the Tel-Tech 15 Index. The TA-125 Index, typically referred to as the Tel Aviv 125 and formerly the TA-100 Index, is a stock market index of the 125 most highly capitalised companies listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). The index began on 1 January 1992 with a base level of 100. The highest value reached to date is 1247.92, in January 2011. On 12 February 2017, the index was expanded to include 125 instead of 100 stocks, in an attempt to improve stability and therefore reduce risk for trackers and encourage foreign investment.
