Liu Yu (golfer)
Yu Liu (born 15 November 1995) is a Chinese professional golfer and member of the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Liu was born in Beijing and had a successful junior career where she won several tournaments in the U.S. and China. She reached the semifinals of the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship in 2011, won by Ariya Jutanugarn. Liu attended Duke University and played golf with the Duke Blue Devils women's golf team for the 2013–14 season, where she was named Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year. Liu secured her first victory in a professional tournament at the 2013 Srixon XXIO Ladies Open on the China LPGA Tour. Professional career Liu turned professional in 2014 and joined the Symetra Tour in 2015. In 2017, she was runner-up at the Florida's Natural Charity Classic, Guardian Championship and Symetra Tour Championship. 2017 Symetra Tour
The 2017 Symetra Tour was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2017 in the United States. The Symetra Tour is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in the United States and is the "official developmental tour" of the LPGA Tour. It was previously known as the Futures Tour. 2023 International Crown
The 2023 Hanwha LifePlus International Crown was a women's golf team event organized by the LPGA, played May 4–7 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California. This was the fourth International Crown, a biennial match play event contested between teams of four players representing eight countries. The winning team earn $500,000, or $125,000 per player. Format The competition took place over four days. It featured four-ball competition on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The top two countries from each pool advanced to Sunday. Two semifinal matches will be played Sunday morning. Each semifinal match consisted of two singles matches and one foursomes match. The Evian Championship
The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. Founded in 1994 on the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the Evian Masters, it is one of two major championships on the LET. Not originally a major on the LPGA Tour, it became an LPGA co-sanctioned event in 2000, which included a significant increase in purse size. The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983.
