Little Pudding River
The Little Pudding River is a tributary of the Pudding River in Marion County in the U.S. state of Oregon. It begins in the Waldo Hills near Macleay, east of Salem, and flows generally north to meet the larger river west of Mt. Angel. The confluence is about from the Pudding River's mouth on the Molalla River. The map includes mile markers along the Pudding River. Course The river flows northwest from near Macleay under State Street, Conifer Street Northeast, and Sunnyview Road before turning north, then northwest again and flowing under Oregon Route 213. Shortly thereafter, it receives West Fork from the left. Downstream of this, as it flows by Hazel Green, Howell Prairie is on its right, and Lake Labish is on its left. Molalla River
The Molalla River is a tributary of the Willamette River in the northwestern part of Oregon in the United States. Flowing northwest from the Cascade Range through Table Rock Wilderness, it passes the city of Molalla before entering the larger river near Canby. Howell Prairie
Howell Prairie is an area west of Silverton, Oregon, United States, between the Little Pudding River and the Pudding River. It was named for John Howell, a pioneer of 1843. Howell Prairie post office was established in 1876 and closed in 1881. In 1887 a post office named Howell was established at ; it closed in 1902. The Oregonian Railway Company also had a station named Howell Prairie, which was changed to Switzerland in 1892. Oregon Route 213
Oregon Route 213 (OR 213) is an Oregon state highway that serves the eastern Willamette Valley between Portland and Salem. It is a north–south route. The route (except for its southernmost segment) is known as the Cascade Highway, though specific segments are generally better known by more localized names. Route description OR 213 begins on the grounds of Portland International Airport at an intersection with Airport Way, halfway between I-205 and the airport terminal. It heads south, where it is known as N.E. and S.E. 82nd Avenue, a major five-lane thoroughfare through east Portland, until reaching its other end at OR 224 in the Clackamas area. Mount Angel, Oregon
Mt. Angel is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. It is northeast of Salem, Oregon, on Oregon Route 214. The population was 3,748 at the 2010 census. Mt. Angel is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Mt. Angel was originally settled in 1850 by Benjamin Cleaver, who later planned a townsite which he named Roy. In 1881, a railroad station was established and named Fillmore after a railroad official. The following year, a post office with the name of Roy was established, but neither name was to last. Rev. Pudding River
The Pudding River is a tributary of the Molalla River in the U.S. state of Oregon. Its drainage basin covers . Among its tributaries are Silver Creek, Butte Creek, Abiqua Creek, and the Little Pudding River. Historically, the Pudding River flowed directly into the Willamette River, and aerial photos dating back to 1936 provide evidence of the Willamette River's confluence with the Pudding River mainstem channel. Currently, it flows directly into the Molalla River near River Mile 1 before joining the Willamette River.
