Little Eye (band)
Little Eye is a Scottish pop/rock solo artist from Glasgow. The band are perhaps best known for their singles "Fighting the Future" and "Choked Up". The band also featured in the 2014 Isle of Wight Festival, alongside the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Waterboys, The Specials, Nina Nesbitt, John Newman and The 1975. In November 2017, Little Eye announced that they would be splitting up 'due to creative differences'. Lead singer Allan Sieczkowski would carry on performing as a solo artist under the name 'Little Eye', while the other three band members are to work together to create a new project in 2018. History Little Eye were formed in 2008 by Glasgow born front man Allan Sieczkowski. The band were the 2009 winners of the "Clyde 1 In Demand Band of the Year Award". Young Scot
Young Scot is a national information and citizenship organisation supported by the Scottish Government for young people aged 11–25 in Scotland. The declared aim of the organisation is to make young people informed, incentivised and active citizens through the information they provide. Young Scot also provides opportunities for young people across Scotland in order to help develop their educational and professional development. One example of this would be the Youth Commission on Alcohol. The organisation issues the Young Scot National Entitlement Card to young people aged 11–25. This provides cardholders with discounts for goods and services across Scotland and certain European countries. The card also allows free bus travel for under-22s. Central Belt
The Central Belt of Scotland is the area of highest population density within Scotland. Depending on the definition used, it has a population of between 2.4 and 4.2 million (the country's total was around 5.4 million in 2019), including Greater Glasgow, Ayrshire, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Lothian and Fife. Despite the name, it is not geographically central but is nevertheless at the "waist" of Scotland on a conventional map and the term "central" is used in many local government, police and NGO designations. "Monster" is a song by American rock band Paramore. It was released on June 7, 2011 for digital download. It is also the second single from the ''Transformers: Dark of the Moon'' OST, which was released on June 14, 2011. It is the first song to not feature former band members Josh and Zac Farro, who separated from the band in 2010. A sneak peek of the song surfaced when lead singer Hayley Williams posted lyrics on the band's Official Fan Club. An audio video for the song was posted on YouTube on June 2, 2011. The video itself achieved over 1 million views in the first three days of posting. The song won Choice Rock Track at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. Paramore
Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007. The band is signed to Fueled by Ramen, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records, both owned by Warner Music Group. Williams was separately signed to Atlantic as she was scouted when she was a teenager, and they were the only label to let her stay in the band instead of going solo, but Atlantic said the rest of the band had to sign to Fueled by Ramen.
