Little Bourbeuse River
The Little Bourbeuse River is a stream in Crawford, Gasconade and Franklin counties in the Ozarks of Missouri. It is a tributary of the Bourbeuse River. The stream headwaters arise in Crawford County just south of the community of Leasburg at . The stream flows generally north passing under Interstate 44 approximately three miles northeast of Cuba. It enters southwestern Franklin County 1.5 miles north of the community of Argo. The stream flows north adjacent to the Franklin-Gasconade county line and crosses into Gasconade County for a short distance before turning east and north to enter the Bourbeuse River 2.5 miles northeast of the community of Japan Japan ( ja, 日本, or , and formally , ''Nihonkoku'') is an island country in East Asia. Gasconade County, Missouri
Gasconade County is a county located in the east-central portion of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the population was 14,794. The county seat has been Hermann since 1842. The county was named after the Gasconade River. The county is located on the south side of the Missouri River, which once served as the chief route of transportation in the state. It is located in the area known as the Missouri Rhineland. Because of its distinctive conditions, the Hermann area was designated an American Viticultural Area (AVA) in 1983. The Bourbeuse River (French for 'muddy') is a river located in east-central Missouri, in the Ozarks region, and is one of two major tributaries of the Meramec River, the other being the Big River. Leasburg is a village in Crawford County, Missouri, United States. The population was 338 at the 2010 census. Interstate 44
Interstate 44 (I-44) is a major Interstate Highway in the central United States. Although it is nominally an east–west road as it is even-numbered, it follows a more southwest–northeast alignment. Its western terminus is in Wichita Falls, Texas, at a concurrency with U.S. Route 277 (US 277), US 281, and US 287; its eastern terminus is at I-70 in St. Louis, Missouri. Cuba, Missouri
Cuba is a city in Crawford County, Missouri, United States. The population was 3,356 at the 2010 census. Cuba is the largest city situated entirely in Crawford County. History Cuba was platted in 1857 when it was certain the railroad would be extended to that point. It was named after the island of Cuba. President Harry S. Truman visited Cuba during a tour of U.S. Route 66. He surveyed the property that would eventually become Indian Hills Lake. Indian Hills Lake was originally known as "Indian Head Lake" because the skull of a Native American was found during excavation. Bette Davis and Amelia Earhart also visited the town.
