Al-Amara Sport Club ( ar, نادي العمارة الرياضي) is an Iraqi football team based in Al-Amarah, Maysan, that plays in Iraq Division Two. History In Premier League Al-Amara team played in the Iraqi Premier League for the first time in the 1988–89 season in the South Group, the club's name was Al-Hurriya at that time, and the team was not good enough, and eventually relegated to the Iraq Division One. The Saladin or Salah Al-Din Governorate ( ar, محافظة صلاح الدين) is one of Iraq's 19 governorates, north of Baghdad. It has an area of , with an estimated population of 1,042,200 people in 2003. Wasit Governorate ( ar, واسط, translit=Wāsit) is a governorate in eastern Iraq, south-east of Baghdad and bordering Iran. Prior to 1976 it was known as Kut Province.
