Iraqi First Division League
The Iraqi First Division League is a football league that is the third tier of the Iraqi football league system. The league consists of 26 teams and was founded in 1974. The number of clubs in the league have varied throughout history for various reasons. The top two teams are promoted directly to the Iraqi Premier Division League, while 10 teams are relegated directly to the Iraqi Second Division League. It is governed by the Iraq Football Association (IFA), and may be introduced into the top tiers of Iraqi football that are governed by the Iraqi Pro League Association in the future. In last season, Al-Etisalat won the championship title after defeating Al-Hawija in the final match, with a big score of 5–0. Al-Qādisiyyah Governorate
Al-Qadisiyah Governorate ( ar, القادسية, translit=Al Qādisiyah), also known as Al-Diwaniyah Governorate ( ar, ٱلدِّيوَانِيَّة ''ad-Dīwānīyah''), is one of the governorates of Iraq. It is in the center-south of the country. The estimated population of the province is about a million and a half million people, according to the census of 2014. Its capital is Al Diwaniyah. Before 1976, it was part of the ad-Diwāniyah Governorate, along with al-Muthannā and Najaf. The 2021–22 Iraqi Second Division League was the 48th season of what is now called the Iraqi First Division League, the third tier of the Iraqi football league system, since its establishment in 1974. The number of clubs in the league have varied throughout history for various reasons; in this season the number of clubs was 112. The top four teams in the Final Qualifiers were promoted directly to the Iraqi First Division League, while the last eighteen teams in the Qualifiers within the Governorates were relegated directly to the Iraqi Third Division League.
