The University of Tehran (Tehran University or UT, fa, دانشگاه تهران) is the most prominent university located in Tehran, Iran. Malcolm Nokes
Malcolm Cuthbert Nokes MC MA BSc (20 May 1897 – 22 November 1986) was a British schoolteacher, soldier, research scientist and Olympic athlete, who competed in the hammer throw and discus throw. Biography He won the bronze medal in the hammer throw at the 1924 Summer Olympics. Four years later he finished eleventh in the 1928 Olympic hammer throw competition. In 1923 he beat the British hammer throw record, but did so in a demonstration rather than a competition, so his throw did not count for record purposes. He won the gold medal for England in the 1930 British Empire Games in the hammer throw contest and finished fifth in the discus throw event. At the 1934 British Empire Games he won again the gold medal in the hammer throw competition. Nokes was the Amateur Athletic Association (AAA) Champion from 1923 to 1926 and placed second in 1921–22 and 1927–28. Syed Rahim Moshiri
Syed Rahim Moshiri ( fa, سید رحیم مشیری; born April 11, 1930) was an Iranian geographer. He worked as a professor of human geography and physical geography at Tehran University. Early life Syed Rahim Moshiri was born on April 11, 1930, in Semnan, Iran. As a child, he attended elementary school at Hedayat School in Semnan. Siamak Yassemi (Persian: سیامک یاسمی) is an Iranian mathematician and is currently the Dean of Faculty of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, University of Tehran, Iran. He has found basic techniques that have played important roles in the field homological algebra. Mohammad-Nabi Sarbolouki
Mohammad-Nabi Sarbolouki ( fa, محمدنبی سربلوکی) was a distinguished Iranian biophysicist and polymer chemist and one of the most influential individuals behind modern scientific movement in Iran. He was known as the inventor of a DNA vehicle called "dendrosome". Sarbolouki was one of the main founders and pioneers of nano science, biomaterials, biotechnology and biophysics in Iran.
