Sumolah
''Sumolah'' (''Let's Sumo!'') is a 2007 Malaysian action-comedy film starring Afdlin Shauki and featuring the Japanese sport of sumo wrestling. The film was shot in Malaysia and Japan. The film has a multi-national cast including Thai actress Inthira Charoenpura who was previously known for her performance in ''Nang Nak'', and Singaporean actor Gurmit Singh known for his performance in the sitcom ''Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd''. The plot of the film revolves about what would happen if an unambitious Malay ''mat rempit'' is forced to enter the challenging world of sumo. This film is rated PG13 for intense sumo violence, some drug content, sexual references and brief strong language. This film was a financial failure despite critical success. Kavita Sidhu ( pa, ਕਵਿਤਾ ਕੌਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ, Kavitā kaura sidhū; born 29 November 1971) is a Malaysian actress and former beauty queen. She is of Indian Punjabi ancestry. Azean Irdawaty
Azean Irdawaty binti Yusoef (27 February 1950 – 17 December 2013) was a Malaysian actress and singer, whose career spanned 40 years. Personal life Irdawaty began her singing career in 1970, and also had a film and television acting career. Death In 2008, she was diagnosed with cancer. On the night of 9 December 2013, she was admitted to the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) after falling unconscious. Din Beramboi
Mior Ahmad Fuad bin Mior Badri (22 December 1966 – 2 April 2010), better known by his stage name Din Beramboi, was a Malaysian comedian, actor and radio DJ and was widely known as a talented impersonator and stand-up comic who was very apt at improvisation. His memorable characters include Pak Rahim in the comedy series ''Afi dan Abah'' and the puppet Kicap in the talk show ''Tom Tom Bak'', both shown on Astro Ceria. He also frequently collaborated with Afdlin Shauki, having appearances in some of the latter's films such as ''Buli'' (2004) and ''Baik Punya Cilok'' (2005). Patrick Teoh
Patrick Teoh (born 16 October, 1947) is an actor and radio personality in Malaysia. A career in radio, on TV, stage and in movies spanning more than five decades earned Teoh the nickname of "Voice of Malaysia", bestowed by his fans and the Malaysian mass media. Early life Teoh was born in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Teoh contracted polio when he was 7 years old He attended St. Michael's Institution up until Form 5.
