Dynamite Clothing (stylized as DYNAMITE) is a clothing store catered to women between the ages of 25 and 30 years old. Founded in 1984 as a subsidiary of Groupe Dynamite, Dynamite currently has locations in Canada, the United States, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Alongside its sister brand, Garage, Dynamite has been recognized as one of Canada's Top Employers for young people in 2019. The current CEO, Andrew Lutfy, has started working at Groupe Dynamite at the age of 18 and was one of the creators of the Dynamite clothing brand. Dynamite contributes to the CURE Foundation, a Canadian foundation that provides funding for basic and clinical research for breast cancer. Jacob (clothing Retailer)
Jacob (formally known as Boutique Jacob, Inc) was a private, family owned Canadian chain of women's and girls' clothing store chain based out of Montreal, Quebec. At its peak, Jacob once had over 200 stores all over Canada, usually in malls. In addition to its main brand Jacob, the company operated under the banners Jacob Connexion, Jacob Lingerie, Josef and Danz. Corporate history Boutique Jacob launched in Sorel-Tracy in 1977. The first store outside of Quebec was opened in Toronto in 1985. Jacob opened its first US store (in Cambridge, Massachusetts) circa 2000. Jacob's flagship store is at the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Drummond streets in downtown Montreal. Indochino is a made-to-measure menswear retailer that offers personalized suiting, casual wear, and outerwear. Originally founded as an exclusively online retailer, Indochino has opened 79 showrooms in Canada, the United States, and Australia. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a second office in Shanghai, China. History Indochino was founded by Kyle Vucko and Heikal Gani. A fur trading business for much of its existence, HBC now owns and operates retail stores in Canada. The company's namesake business division is Hudson's Bay, commonly referred to as The Bay ( in French). Hatley is a Montreal-based retailer and wholesaler of gifts and apparel. Founded in 1987, the company is best-known for its PVC-free rain gear and cotton pyjamas. __TOC__ History John and Alice Oldland started Hatley as a cottage business in North Hatley, Québec, Canada, in 1986. Alice, an artist, opened a gift store called "The Little Blue House" and painted in her studio on the second floor.
