Galdogob
Galdogob ( so, Galdogob, ar, جلدغب) is a border town wholly administered by the semi-autonomous Puntland State of Somalia, and serves as the capital of the Galdogob District within the Mudug region. The town technically straddles the disputed 1950s-era Provisional Administrative Line, as depicted on virtually all worldwide maps, from north-central Somalia. Puntland State University is a university in Garowe, the administrative capital of the northeastern Puntland region of Somalia. History The school traces its roots back to the Garowe School of Management, a women's school in Garowe offering courses in accounting, computer skills, business English and business management. Kismayo University is a private university located in Kismayo, Somalia's third largest city. Background Since the collapse of the Somali central government in 1991, all the educational institutions and other public properties were destroyed. This has caused a mass migration of Somali intellectuals from the country. Years later, some of the Somali intellectuals recognized the need of primary and secondary education. Bardera ( ar, بارديرا, so, Bardhere) is a city in Jubaland State of Somalia. It is the second largest and most populous city in Jubaland with Kismayo being the largest and most densely populated city in the region. Bardera sits on the Jubba River around 250 km west of the city of Baidoa and is in a highland area with fertile soil.
