Turnov
Turnov (; german: Turnau) is a town in Semily District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 14,000 inhabitants. It is a traditional centre for gemstone polishing, glass craftsmanship and arts. The town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Turnov lies near the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area which makes it a place for tourists and summer residents. The town is also an important traffic crossroads of three railways and the Prague–Liberec highway. Turnov has a large museum, three galleries, six churches, and a synagogue. The small old town of Middle Ages urbanism is surrounded by modern garden neighbourhoods and large parks representing an organic connection between urban areas and nature. Høje-Taastrup Municipality
Høje-Taastrup Kommune is a municipality (Danish language, Danish, ''Municipalities of Denmark, kommune'') in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (Denmark), Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 78 km² (30 mi²), and has a total population of 50,676 (1 October 2018). It was formed by the 1970 Danish Municipal Reform, and its 1974 adjustment, by merging the parish municipalities of Høje Taastrup, Sengeløse, the Fløng part of Hvedstrup-Fløng and the Reerslev part of Reerslev-Vindinge. Dobele Municipality
Dobele Municipality ( lv, Dobeles novads) is a municipality in the historical region of Zemgale, and the Zemgale Planning Region in Latvia. The municipality was formed in 2009 by merging Dobele town and the Annenieki, Auri, Bērze, Biksti, Dobele, Jaunbērze, Krimūna, Naudīte, Penkule and Zebrene parishes, the administrative centre being Dobele. Ängelholm Municipality
Ängelholm Municipality (''Ängelholms kommun'') is a municipality in Scania County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Ängelholm. In 1971 the ''City of Ängelholm'' was amalgamated with the rural municipalities ''Ausås'', ''Barkåkra'', ''Hjärnarp'' and ''Munka-Ljungby'', thus creating a municipality of unitary type. In 1974 a parish from the dissolved municipality ''Östra Ljungby'' was added. Ängelholm was until recently the home of a major airforce base. The base is now closed down and the premises taken over by the supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg. A notable landmark is the UFO memorial at Ängelholm. Frogn
Frogn is a municipality in former Akershus now Viken county, Norway. It is part of the Follo traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Drøbak. Frogn was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The city of Drøbak was merged with Frogn on 1 January 1962. Frogn is located at the southern part of the peninsula between the main Oslofjord and Bunnefjorden. It borders Nesodden, Ås and Vestby. General information Name The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the old ''Frogn'' farm (Old Norse: ''Fraun''), since the first church was built here. The name must be very old and the meaning is unknown. One theory is that it is derived from the Norse word ''frauð'' which means "manure" and the meaning would then be "the fertilized field". De Pere, Wisconsin
De Pere ( ) is a city located in Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 25,410 according to the 2020 Census. De Pere is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area. History At the arrival of the first European, Jean Nicolet, who visited the place in 1634–1635, De Pere was the site of a polyglot settlement of several thousand attracted by the fishing at the first rapids of the Fox River. In 1671 French Jesuit explorer Père Claude-Jean Allouez founded the St. Francis Xavier Mission at the last set of rapids on the Fox River before it enters The Bay of Green Bay. Åmål Municipality (''Åmåls kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Åmål. The present municipality was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of the former ''City of Åmål'' and the former rural municipality of Tössbo (the latter created in 1952).
