TV Midtvest is one of eight regional TV-stations in the TV 2 network in Denmark, covering the Central and Western Jutland. The station was founded in 1989. TV Midtvest is broadcasting from Holstebro Holstebro is the main town in Holstebro Municipality, Denmark. V Film
V Film is a group of premium movie channels broadcasting in the Nordic countries owned by Viaplay Group. History Viasat Film was started by Kinnevik on 27 August 1989 as TV1000, using one of the sixteen transponders on Astra 1A, the very first Astra satellite. In June 1991 TV1000 announced that they channel would merge with another pay movie channel called SF Succé. This gave the channel a content boost with several Swedish films. It also made TV1000 more able to compete with FilmNet which was the leading premium channel at the time. The merger took place on 1 September 1991. The name of the merged channel was initially announced to be "TV1000 Succékanalen", although this was not used on air. As TV1000 was much larger than SF Succé, Kinnevik would own 75 percent of the new channel, while SF Succé's owners only owned 25 percent. TV3 MAX is a Danish TV channel dedicated to male viewers. The channel launched on 31 October 2017 and replaced TV3 Sport 2. The channel is owned by Viaplay Group. TV3 Sport
TV3 Sport is a Danish sports television channel, owned by Viaplay Group and operated by TV3 SPORT. The channel originally broadcast as TV 2 SPORT and was a joint-venture between TV 2 and Modern Times Group. MTG launched a dedicated Danish version of its Viasat Sport channel in January 2002. In December 2006, TV 2 and MTG announced that they would enter a partnership to launch TV 2 SPORT and its sister channel TV 2 SPORT Xtra (later renamed TV 2 SPORT HD). This channel would replace the Danish version of Viasat Sport 1 (as it was then called). It would also mean that Viasat Sport 2 and 3 would disappear from cable television and TV 2's second channel TV 2 Zulu would broadcast less sport. TV3 Puls is television channel broadcasting to Denmark. It started broadcasting March 23, 2008. TV3+ Denmark
TV3+ is a Danish pay television channel owned by Viaplay Group. It has its origins in the youth-oriented channel ZTV and women-focused channel TV6 that were launched in the mid-1990s when Kinnevik invested heavily in new free-to-air channels. In April 1996, Danish ZTV was closed down along with Sportskanalen, and TV6 was replaced by a new channel called 3+. In the beginning, 3+ time-shared with TVG in the mornings, ZTV in the afternoon and Sportskanalen in the weekend, but eventually these channels closed down. TV 2 Film
TV 2 Film was a 24-hour two-star movie channel owned by TV 2. It was launched on November 1, 2005, at 9 p.m. First to air was the Danish feature film ''The Green Butchers''. The channel mostly shows American two-star movies. Each movie is shown many times over the course of several days. In August 2008, the channel started broadcasting in the widescreen format. This was followed by the launch of a high-definition simulcast of the channel on January 1, 2009. The channel was developed from a film strand on TV 2 called ''"en go' film uden afbrydelser"'' ("A good movie without interruptions"). Initially, the channel carried advertising between the films, but this practise was discontinued in 2007 as the advertising sales had remained modest.
