Televisa is a Mexican multimedia mass media company (or television network) founded in 1951 by Emilio Azcárraga Jean. Previously known as Televisión Independiente de México, Telesistema Mexicano and Televisa, has four stations: FORO, Canal 5, Nueve and Las Estrellas. The latter is responsible for the transmission of television drama productions since 1958. 'Senda prohibida', directed by Rafael Banquells, was the first telenovela produced by the network, which has 30 chapters and won a great success. Thus, investing in original serials and, with the beginning of 1960, decided to write more than twenty telenovelas in just one year. The indices marked by ' share' were satisfactory and continued with the project. With the advent of color television, ' El amor tiene cara de mujer' was written in 1971 and had 760 chapters, the telenovela longest of the network. Caridad Bravo Adams
Caridad Bravo Adams (; born on January 14, 1908, in Villahermosa, Tabasco – August 13, 1990 in Mexico City) was a prolific Mexico, Mexican writer and the most famous telenovela writer worldwide. She was born to a couple of Cuban actors and she was part of an extended family of artists, being the sister of Venezuelan actor Leon Bravo, one of the pioneers of theater, radio and TV in Venezuela. She published her first book at the age of 16, titled ''Pétalos sueltos''. She then moved back to Cuba with her parents, and later returned to Mexico, where she kept writing and obtained a role in her only film, ''Corazón bandolero'' (1934). She became a chair member of the Ateneo Mexicano de Mujeres and later moved back to Cuba, where she wrote the radionovela ''Yo no creo en los hombres'', which was adapted in Mexico for telenovelas in 1969 and 1988. In̩s Rodena (April 20, 1905 in Havana, Cuba РApril 15, 1985 in Miami, USA) was a Cuban radio and television writer. Life and career Before becoming a writer Rodena worked as a nurse. Through her experiences with her patients and stories recounted by people with whom she came in contact, her passion for writing was born.
