List Of Sterling Warriors Head Football Coaches
file:Mccracken.jpg, Josiah McCracken coached the team in 1903, after his appearance in the 1900 Summer Olympics. The Sterling Warriors football program is a college football team that represents Sterling College (Kansas) in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, NAIA. The team has had 34 head coaches since its first recorded football game in 1893. The current head coach is Chase Hansen, who took over for Chuck Lambert after the 2017 season. Gerald Malke (5 December 1963 – 1 September 2016), known professionally as Gary D, was a German trance/hardstyle producer and DJ, known for the trance compilations ''D.Trance''. Scott Downing (born November 7, 1956) is an American football player and coach. He is currently the vice president of athletics at Sterling College. Playing history Downing played college football at Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas as an offensive lineman and punter. Curtis Eugene Bennett (December 16, 1935 – January 26, 2011) was an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas for 13 seasons over three stints, compiling a record of 59–60–3 His first tenure was from 1966 until the end of the 1973 season. Reuben Berry
Reuben Leonard Berry (July 3, 1934 – April 6, 1998) was an American gridiron football coach. He served as the head coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1983 to 1984. A graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, Berry's coaching career began as an assistant at Fort Scott Community Junior College in Fort Scott, Kansas. In 1964 he moved to Sterling College, where he remained until March 1966 when he accepted the head coaching job at Fort Scott Community Junior College. Berry's tenure as FSCJC's head coached ended before he coached a single game when three months later he resigned to join the coaching staff at Southwest Missouri State.
