José Suárez (actor)
José Suárez (19 September 1919 – 6 August 1981) was a Spanish film actor. Career José Suárez made his debut in a short role in ''Altar Mayor'' (1944), a very conventional film, whose director, Gonzalo Delgrás, had paid attention to him in his work as a train conductor in Asturias. He played increasingly important roles in following Delgrás's movies and by 1948 he was already a lead actor. He then became very popular in Spain along the late 40s and early 50s, as one of the main wikt:heartthrob, heartthrobs of the Spanish cinema, along with his contemporaries Francisco Rabal, Jorge Mistral and Alfredo Mayo. Rossano Brazzi
Rossano Brazzi (18 September 1916 – 24 December 1994) was an Italian actor. Biography Brazzi was born in Bologna, Italy, the son of Maria Ghedini and Adelmo Brazzi, an employee of the Rizzoli shoe factory. He was named after Rossano Veneto, where his father was stationed during his military service in World War I. Brazzi attended San Marco University in Florence, Italy, where he was raised from the age of four. He was a lawyer before becoming an actor and made his film debut in 1939. He moved to Hollywood in 1948 and was propelled to international fame with his role in the English-language film ''Three Coins in the Fountain (film), Three Coins in the Fountain'' (1954), followed by the leading male role in David Lean's ''Summertime (1955 film), Summertime'' (1955), opposite Katharine Hepburn. Ladislao Vajda
Ladislao Vajda (born Weisz László; 18 August 1906, Budapest – 25 March 1965, Barcelona) was a Hungarian-Spanish film director who made films in Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Italy and West Germany. Biography He was born in Budapest, his father being an actor and screenwriter. Vajda started his career as film editor (even though he also worked as artistic designer and writer) for different directors, such as Billy Wilder and Henry Koster. Eventually, he undertook his first directorial effort in his native country, Hungary. Before World War II he became established in Italy, where he directed two movies: ''La zia smemorata'' (1940) and ' (1941). Finally, he moved to Spain, where he continued directing films. Ramón Torrado (born 5 April 1905-January 1990) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He directed 50 films between 1942 and 1978. Mariella Lotti
Maria Camilla Pianotti (17 November 1919 – 18 December 2004), known by the stage name Mariella Lotti, was an Italian film actress. Lotti made her film debut in 1939, and played leading ladies in a number of Fascist era and post-war films. She was one of many actors employed on the anthology film ''The Ten Commandments'', made following the overthrow of Benito Mussolini. She made her final film ''Carmen'' in 1954.
