Oban Selo
Eban ( rus, Эбан, inh, Эбана, ''Обин'') - is a small village in the Dzheyrakhsky district of Ingushetia, Russia. It is known for its ancestral association with the teip Obankhoy. The village is situated on the steep right bank of the Armkhi River, near the Georgian Military Highway, and is known for its tower-style houses. The name Eban is thought to have originated from a proper noun, although the exact etymology is obscured. As of 2017, the village does not have any streets or alleys, but according to the 1926 census, there were more than 30 Obankhoy people living in the area. Sagopshi ( inh, Соагӏапче, Soaghapče; russian: Сагопши) is a rural locality (a '' selo'') in Malgobeksky District of the Republic of Ingushetia, Russia. Population: History Formation of the Village (1863 - 1874) In 1863, two new settlements appeared in the mountainous area of Malaya Kabarda, on the river Psygobzhe. The first settlement was called Tsokalo Bokova (Upper Sagopsh) and was inhabited mainly by settlers from Eldarkhan-kala. The second settlement was called Alamkacha Gatagazhev (Lower Sagopsh) and was populated by settlers from the Tarskaya Valley (Abrekovo village). In 1865, the settlement of Tsokalo Bokov was abandoned due to the migration of its inhabitants to Turkey, and was soon re-populated by the Orstkhoys who remained in their homeland. Novy Redant (russian: Новый Редант. inh, Керда Редант, ''Kerda Redant'') is a rural locality (a '' selo'') in Malgobeksky District of the Republic of Ingushetia, Russia. Population: History The history of Novy Redant can be traced back to the time after the 1944 deportation of Chechens and Ingush and the abolishment of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. At that time, the site of the current village was formed into the Ossetia feed farm, which was later renamed as the Alkhanchurtsky feed farm and was a part of the North Ossetian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Tyarsh or Tarsh ( inh, ТIаьрш, Thärsh), is an aul in the Dzheyrakhsky District of Ingushetia. It is part of the rural settlement of Olgeti (administrative center rural settlement). Tyarsh is the ancestral aul of Ingush teip Torshkhoy ( inh, ТIоаршхой). History Historically Tyarsh was part of the Fyappin society. Pkhmat
Pkhmat ( inh, Пхьмат, ''Pꜧmat'') — is a rural locality (aul) in Dzheyrakhsky District of the Republic of Ingushetia, Russia. Pkhmat is one of the 6 rural localities concluding Dzheyrakh rural settlement. History Pkhamat is a former tower settlement that dates back to the medieval period. Archaeological evidence suggests that it consisted of a complex of cultural objects of Ingush architecture, including one combat tower (vaov) and five residential towers (gaala). At present, only the ruins of one tower have remained. The settlement was fortified by a defensive wall, forming a castle complex that was typical of the late Middle Ages.
