Swimming At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's 4 × 100 Metre Medley Relay
The men's 4 × 100 metre medley relay event at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 30 July and 1 August 2021 at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre. It was the event's sixteenth consecutive appearance, having been held at every edition since 1960. Records Prior to this competition, the existing world and Olympic records were as follows. The following record was established during the competition: Qualification The top 12 teams in this event at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships qualified for the Olympics. An additional 4 teams will qualify through having the fastest times at approved qualifying events during the qualifying period (1 March 2019 to 30 May 2020). Competition format The competition consists of two rounds: heats and a final. The relay teams with the best 8 times in the heats advance to the final. Paweł Korzeniowski
Paweł Korzeniowski (born 9 July 1985) is a Polish competitive swimmer who won the 200-meter butterfly at the 2005 World Aquatics Championships in Montreal. He also competes in the freestyle events. Initially trained by Paweł Woźnicki in Oświęcim-based Unia Oświęcim club, in 2005 he was transferred to Warsaw-based AZS AWF Warszawa club, where he has been trained by Paweł Słomiński. His current coach, since 2009, is Robert Bialecki.

Jan Świtkowski (born 23 January 1994) is a Polish competitive Swimming (sport), swimmer who specializes in butterfly events. He is a multiple-time Polish champion and a bronze medalist in the 200-meter butterfly at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships, 2015 World Championships. While studying in the United States, Switkowski initially attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, where he swam for the Virginia Tech Hokies under head coach Ned Skinner from 2013 to 2014. Switkowski sat out the 2014–15 season to spend most of the year competing for the Polish national swimming team, before transferring to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he competed for the Florida Gators swimming and diving team under head coach Gregg Troy.
