Kadri Prishtina
Kadri Prishtina (1878–1925), better known as Hoxha Kadri, was an Albanian political figure of the early 1920s. Life Hoxha Kadriu was born in Prishtina, in the Kosovo Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire. He took the first studies in his home town in Turkish language, studying later in Uskub school "Dar ul-Mualimin". He studied law and education in Istanbul, first in the Private Pegagogical Schools "Darüttedris" and later in the "Fatih" Medrese. On February 4, 1902 he joined the Young Turks movement. In 1904 he was arrested by Ottoman authorities because of his refusals to point to the author of "Fitret ul-Islâm", a problematic and controversial essay on the Islam religion, with Syrja Bey Vlora as author. He spent four years in Yedikule prison where he lost a leg due to gangrene. After his released he was interned in Tokat in north-eastern Anatolia where he worked as a lawyer. Shkëlzen Shala
Shkëlzen Shala (born 22 April 1983) is an Albanian entrepreneur, gastronome and veganism activist based in Pristina, Kosovo. Early life Shkëlzen Shala was born on 22 April 1983 in Pristina, Kosovo to Ismet and Drita. His granddad was a well-known farmer in Yugoslavia, while his father was a school teacher in Pristina. He studied scenography and economics at the University of Pristina. Career Shkëlzen Shala started working at an early age, running his family business together with his brother, a restaurant in Pristina which was then expanded into a hotel, named Garden. Zufer Avdija ( sr, Зуфер Авдија, he, זופר אבדיה; born October 1, 1959) is a Serbian–Israeli professional basketball coach and former player who is the general manager and president of basketball operations for Bnei Herzliya of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Deni Avdija ( he, דֶנִי אָבְדִיָה, sr-cyr, Дени Авдија; born 3 January 2001) is an Israeli-Serbian professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays the small forward position. The son of former basketball player Zufer Avdija, he started playing basketball in the fourth grade for his hometown club Bnei Herzeliya, and then in 2013 for Maccabi Tel Aviv. Lorik Agim Cana (; born 27 July 1983) is an Albanian former professional footballer. He is currently the Grassroots ambassador for children's football in Albania, named by the Albanian Football Association on 26 October 2017. Enver Petrovci (born 28 February 1954 in Pristina) is a Kosovo-Albanian actor, writer and director. He went to high school in Prishtina and completed acting school in Belgrade.
