Ohio High School Athletic Association
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. The OHSAA governs eligibility of student athletes, resolves disputes, organizes levels of competition by divisional separation of schools according to attendance population, and conducts state championship competitions in all the OHSAA-sanctioned sports. Membership There are approximately 820 member high schools and 850 more schools in the 7th-8th grade division of the OHSAA. Most public and private high schools in Ohio belong to the OHSAA. Structure Districts The Association is divided into six districts, each with its own District Athletic Board, including the Central District, East District, Northeast District, Northwest District, Southeast District, and Southwest District. Hudson High School (Hudson, Ohio)
Hudson High School (HHS) is a public high school in Hudson, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Hudson City School District and is located on a campus that has been developed to include a variety of athletic fields, such as six tennis courts, a lighted baseball field, track, and football stadium. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school has an enrollment of 1,631 students, mainly from Hudson and neighboring Boston Township. Athletic teams are known as the Explorers with school colors of navy blue and white, and compete in the Suburban League National Division. Administration As of 2022, the head principal was Mike Miller. From 2009 to 2022, Brian Wilch was the principal. Louisville High School (Ohio)
Louisville High School is a public high school located in Louisville, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Louisville City School District. It serves all of the city of Louisville and the majority of the surrounding Nimishillen Township. History The first schoolhouse within Louisville was a one-room log cabin located on the corner of Nickelplate and Main Streets. It was built in the 1840s and was replaced by a two-room brick edifice in the 1850s. This new school was located on the northeast corner of Mill and Broad Streets. In 1872, Louisville's seat of learning was moved again to another two-room brick building, located upon South Chapel Street. Brunswick High School (BHS) is a public high school in Brunswick, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Brunswick City School District and the only high school in the city. Brunswick High School offers a comprehensive educational program consisting of ten Advanced Placement Courses and Honors-Level programming in all academic areas. Liberty Center High School is a public high school in Liberty Center, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Liberty Center Local Schools district. Their school mascot nickname is the Tigers, with their colors being orange and black. They are members of the Northwest Ohio Athletic League. History Liberty Center Local Schools started around 1870–1880 with its first "Liberty Center board of education."
