List Of Number-one Songs Of 2018 (Colombia)
This is a list of the number-one songs of 2018 in Colombia according to National-Report and Monitor Latino. Both charts are based on airplay across radio stations in Colombia; Monitor Latino uses the Radio Tracking Data, LLC in real time, whereas National-Report uses a system by Media-Scanner. Monitor Latino's charts are compiled from Monday to Sunday, while National-Report's charts are compiled from Friday to Thursday. Besides the General chart, Monitor Latino also publishes "Vallenato", "Crossover", "Pop", "Tropical", "Urbano", "Popular" and "Anglo" charts for Colombia. National-Report also provides charts with those names, with the addition of "Latino" and "Rock" charts. Beginning in the June 17 week, Monitor Latino ceased to publish the separate Audience and Spins charts, instead publishing a combined chart. National-Report
The National-Report is the Colombian music industry standard singles popularity chart tracking company. Chart rankings are based on radio play and issued weekly. The data are compiled by monitoring radio stations through an automated system in real-time. National-Report also monitors data from Venezuela and Ecuador. The company provides the Top 100 Nacional, with only the first 20 positions released to the public, and the rest of the chart only available for subscribers. ChocQuibTown
ChocQuibTown (sometimes written as Choc Quib Town) is a Colombian hip-hop group that fuses various musical genres. Although the band formed in Cali, the members are originally from the Colombian department of Chocó. The group consists of Carlos "Tostao" Valencia (rapping), Gloria "Goyo" Martínez (singing and rapping), and Miguel "Slow" Martínez (production and rapping). The band's music draws influence from a wide variety of modern genres including hip-hop and more recently electronica, combined with traditional Colombian genres including salsa, Latin jazz, and Afro-Latin rhythms.
