Ö3 Austria Top 40 is the official Austrian singles chart, as well as the radio show which presents it, aired Tuesdays on Hitradio Ö3. The show presents the Austrian singles, ringtones and downloads chart. It premiered on 26 November 1968 as ''Disc Parade'' and was presented by Ernst Grissemann. The show has had other names and other presenters, as detailed below. The weekly number-ones are released by Musikmarkt and GoTV. History From 1980 to 7 January 1990, the mixed listening and sales parade Hit wähl mit was broadcast on Sunday evening, starting with an hour of 15 chart placements and six new releases. The longest broadcast time was two hours with 25 chart placements and eight new releases. Ö3 Top-30 On 12 January 1990, the pure sales hit parade ''Ö3 Top-30'' was introduced on Ö3. Mark Knopfler
Mark Freuder Knopfler (born 12 August 1949) is a British singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Born in Scotland and raised in England, he was the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits. He pursued a solo career after the band first dissolved in 1988. Dire Straits reunited in 1990, but dissolved again in 1995. He is now an independent solo artist. Knopfler was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and raised in Blyth, near Newcastle in England, from the age of seven. After graduating from the University of Leeds and working for three years as a college lecturer, Knopfler co-founded Dire Straits with his younger brother, David Knopfler. ''One Deep River'' is the tenth solo album by British musician Mark Knopfler. It was released on 12 April 2024. On 5 February, Knopfler released a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube of him and the band at work on the album. Guy Fletcher, John McCusker, Michael McGoldrick and Greg Leisz are shown to be part of the band. The first three singles from the album released are "Ahead of the Game" (released on 24 January), "Watch Me Gone" (released 22 February) and "Two Pairs of Hands" (released 27 March). The album was followed by a standalone EP for Record Store Day called ''The Boy'', containing four exclusive songs around a common theme of fairgrounds and boxing. Artemas Diamandis ( el, Αρτέμας Διαμαντής; born 23 September 1999), known mononymously as Artemas, is an English-Cypriot singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known for his singles " If U Think I'm Pretty" and " I Like the Way You Kiss Me". Early life Diamandis grew up in a village in Oxfordshire and aspired to be a singer from an early age. Lukas Strobel (born 28 September 1989), better known by his stage name Alligatoah, is a German rapper, singer, producer and DJ signed to the independent German hip hop record label Trailerpark. He also publishes music for his two fictional characters Kaliba 69 (rapper) and DJ Deagle (producer) under his stage name.
