OLiS (Oficjalna Lista Sprzedaży; en, Official Sales Chart) is the official chart of the highest selling music albums in Poland. The chart exists since 23 October 2000 and is provided by Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry, ZPAV. This is a chart of best selling music albums in the Polish media market, involving 50 matches. This overview is based on data from 233 points of sale: 227 stores of the largest retail chains in Poland: Empik (121 stores), Real (hypermarket), Real (53 stores), Media Markt (38 stores) and Saturn (store), Saturn (15 stores), two of the largest Polish internet stores: Merlin.pl, Rockserwis.pl and 4 retail stores. Taco Hemingway
Filip Tadeusz Szcześniak (born July 29, 1990), better known by the stage name Taco Hemingway (earlier FV), is an Egyptian-born Polish rapper, songwriter, and musician. He began recording in 2011, at which time he released - under the pseudonym Foodvillain - an English-language mixtape entitled ''Who Killed JFK.'' A year later, he adopted the pseudonym Taco Hemingway, under which he released the English-language EP ''Young Hems''. In 2014, he released a second EP, this time recorded in Polish, titled T''rójkąt warszawski''. The album brought the musician publicity, thanks to which he joined the label Asfalt Records, under which he released a re-release of '' Trójkąt warszawski'' and a new EP entitled ''Umowa o dzieło''. These, as well as subsequent albums released on the label, made the rapper famous, and he quickly became one of the most popular musicians in Poland. Kult (band)
Kult is a Polish rock band formed in 1982 in Warsaw, originally consisting of Kazik Staszewski (lead vocals, saxophone), Piotr Wieteska (bass), Tadeusz Bagan (guitars) and Dariusz Gierszewski (drums). Kult's early works were strongly influenced by alternative, progressive and punk rock, as well as the British new wave, but the band gradually incorporated more diverse and innovative styles in their music. The music of the band is primarily associated with strong lyrics by Staszewski and distinct wind section (saxophones, horn). Before forming the band, all members of the original quartet had been playing together in either Poland or Novelty Poland, two bands led by Staszewski between 1979 and 1981. The first concert of the new band in July 1982 sold only 14 tickets. ''S&M'' (an abbreviation of ''Symphony and Metallica'') is a live album by American heavy metal band Metallica, with the San Francisco Symphony conducted by Michael Kamen. It was recorded on April 21 and 22, 1999, at The Berkeley Community Theatre. This is the final Metallica album to feature bassist Jason Newsted.
