Panda (band)
Panda (commonly stylized as PXNDX) was a Mexican rock band formed in Monterrey, Nuevo León in 1996 as part of the musical movement known as Avanzada Regia. The last line-up consisted in singer José Madero, drummer Jorge Vásquez, lead guitarist/Backup vocals Arturo Arredondo and bassist Ricardo Treviño. Founded by singer/guitarist José Madero, guitarist Jorge "Ongi" Garza, bass guitarist Ricardo Treviño and drummer David Castillo whom in 1997 Vásquez replaced. The band went to produce various demo recordings and later landed a deal with independent label Movic Records the following year. The band ended receiving local attention in 2000 with debut and second studio albums '' Arroz Con Leche'' and ''La Revancha Del Príncipe Charro'' (2002). The next year, they were the opening act for American rock band Blink-182 during their brief tour in Mexico. Eme 15 (also stylized as ''EME XV'' and ''M-15'') were a Mexican-Argentine Latin pop band composed of the six lead actors from the 2012 Nickelodeon Latin America television series ''Miss XV''. The band was formed for the series in Mexico City by Televisa by producer Pedro Damián in August 2011. Music for the band's album was produced and written by Carlos Lara and former pop-rock singer Lynda Thomas. On December 18, 2013, it was officially announced to fans via the band's official Twitter account that the band would split up, following their final concert on January 5, 2014, at the ''Mega Feria Imperial de Acapulco'' in Acapulco, Mexico. Molotov is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City in 1995. Their lyrics, which are rapped and sung by all members of the group, feature a mixture of Spanish and English. The band members also switch instruments and roles depending on what song they are performing. Biography The band began in 1995 when two friends, Tito Fuentes (guitar) and Micky "Chicho" Huidobro (bass), started playing together. Javier de la "J" Cueva and Iván Jared "La Quesadillera" Moreno joined them in September of that year, becoming the first line up for the band. Moreno would eventually leave and be replaced by Randy Ebright, the only American member of the band, in October 1995. In February 1996, de la Cueva would also leave. He was replaced by Paco Ayala, establishing the four-member lineup that has remained consistent over the years. Yahir Othón Parra (born 21 March 1979), simply known as Yahir, is a Mexican singer and actor from Hermosillo, Sonora. He began his career as one of the participants in the music reality show ''La Academia'' in 2002 and in addition to Yuridia, also from Hermosillo, is one of the most popular stars to come from the show. He became a judge of the show's tenth season. Personal life Yahir's mother converted from Roman Catholicism to Jehovah's Witnesses, and although he was brought up in his mother's faith he no longer practices it.
