Rosemary Esehagu (born 15 November 1981) is a Nigerian writer. She was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, to a family of six children. In 1997, she came to the United States to advance her education. Flora Nwapa
Florence Nwanzuruahu Nkiru Nwapa (13 January 1931 – 16 October 1993), was a Nigerian author who has been called the mother of modern African literature, African Literature. She was the forerunner to a generation of African women writers, and the first African woman novelist to be published in the English language in Britain. She achieved international recognition with her first novel ''Efuru,'' published in 1966 by Heinemann Educational Books. Martina Nwakoby
Martina Awele Nwakoby (born 1937) is a Nigerian writer. Early life and education Martina Nwakoby was born in Ogwashi-Uku and was educated in Niger, in Birmingham, at the University of Pittsburgh and at the University of Ibadan, receiving a PhD in literary studies from the latter institution. Career She was described as one of the Nigerian female writers who dare to "challenge the dominant paradigm" in an article preview titled "Nigerian Female Writers: A Critical Perspective" edited by Henrietta C. Nkiru Njoku
Nkiru Njoku (born 1980) is a Nigerian screenwriter, writer and video producer. She is the head writer of M-net's ''Tinsel'', a Nigerian soap that started airing in 2008. In 2016 Njoku was the head content producer of ''Project Fame West Africa''. Screen shot from MTV Shuga Alone Together Ep. 52 directed by Njoku. Amina Mama (born 19 September 1958) is a Nigerian-British writer, feminist and academic. Her main areas of focus have been post-colonial, militarist and gender issues. She has lived in Africa, Europe, and North America, and worked to build relationships between feminist intellectuals across the globe.
