Moratuwa
Moratuwa ( si, මොරටුව, ta, மொறட்டுவை) is a large suburb of Colombo, on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka, near Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia. It is situated on the Galle–Colombo (Galle road) main highway, south of the centre of Colombo. Moratuwa is surrounded on three sides by water, except in the north of the city, by the Indian Ocean on the west, the Lake Bolgoda on the east and the Moratu river on the south. According to the 2012 census, the suburb had a population of 168,280. Moratuwa is also the birthplace of Veera Puran Appu, a resistance fighter against British rule in Matale, the philanthropist Sir Charles Henry de Soysa and the musician Pandit W. D. Amaradeva. Matale Municipal Council
The Matale Municipal Council ( Sinhala: මාතලේ මහ නගර සභා mātalē maha nagara sabhāva) is the local council for Matale. It is a large regional city located in the heart of island's central hills, it is the capital and largest city in Matale district. The council was formed in 1963 under the Municipalities Ordinance Act of 1865. It has 21 elected representatives, comprising ten seats held by the United National Party, four seats by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and six by Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna. Matale Public Library
Matale ( Sinhala: මාතලේ, ta, மாத்தளை, translit=Māttaḷai) is the administrative capital city of the Matale District. It is the most urbanised and populated centre in the district. Matale is also the second largest municipal and urban centre in central province after Kandy. It is located at the heart of the central hills of the island and lies in a broad, fertile valley at an elevation of above sea level. Gampaha Municipal Council
The Gampaha Municipal Council ( si, ගම්පහ මහ නගර සභාව, ta, கம்பாஹா மாநகர சபை) is the local council for Gampaha, the second urban town of Gampaha District, Sri Lanka after Negombo. It has 30 members elected under the mixed electoral system where 60% of members will be elected using first-past-the-post voting and the remaining 40% through closed list proportional representation. Gampaha Public Library
Gampaha (Sinhala: ගම්පහ ; Tamil: கம்பஹா ) is an urban city in Gampaha District, Western Province, Sri Lanka. It is situated to the north-east of the capital Colombo. It is the sixth largest urban area in Western Province, after Colombo, Negombo, Kalutara, Panadura and Avissawella. Gampaha is also the second largest municipal centre in Gampaha district, after Negombo. Gampaha has a land area of and is home to the offices of 75 government institutions. Negombo (, ) is a major city in Sri Lanka, situated on the west coast and at the mouth of the Negombo Lagoon, in Western Province, from Colombo via Colombo - Katunayake Expressway. Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Council (DMMC) is the local authority for the city of Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia in Sri Lanka.
